Job Description
Primary Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in Web Application Firewall & related solutions.
- Should have excellent understanding on engineering, deployment, and operations of Web Application Firewall security solutions and integration of those platforms with other security solutions as required.
- Have Excellent understanding on Linux Operating systems (working with Vi editor, scripting).
- Create WAF rules/signatures to mitigate threats and implements best practices
- Work closely with different stakeholders across the organization for tuning WAF policies or creating custom signatures
- Develop alerts/reports to meet the requirements of key stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze activity logs to detect malicious internet traffic and indicators of compromise as well as to reduce false positive blocks
- Review WAF usage and define means to improve and mature protection policies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders within Information Security and Engineering teams to develop specific use cases to address business needs
- Need to have very good understanding on:
- Networking concepts and protocols (TCP/UDP, ports etc)
- Working knowledge on Apache, Jboss, Java, Docker, AWS
- Working knowledge of SSL encryption and TLS Certificates
- Should be comfortable working in 24/5 shifts
